Vitamin Injections
Our Practitioner Abbi is qualified in administering
injections for Vitamin B12, C and D.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 is a water soluble vitamin important for the maintenance of the nervous system and the formation of red blood cells. Produced by healthy bacteria it is naturally found in soil. Foods such as meat, fish, and dairy contain B12 because those corresponding animals consume small amounts of soil when eating grass/feed. However, industrial agriculture and over-farming has depleted natural levels of B12 in the soil and as a result we have to look for alternative means to absorb a healthy amount of B12 into our bodies.
And this is where injections come into play. With a qualified practitioner you can use injections as a method to safely absorb B12 and other vitamins into the body.
Some of the benefits to introducing more B12 into your body include:
Reducing fatigue
Helping to reduce depression
Improved brain function
Protection against heart disease
Healthier hair, nails, and skin
Reducing the severity of allergies
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is commonly known for it’s importance to the optimum working of our immune system. It benefits our bodies in other ways too, including:
Increased, long lasting energy
Reduced fatigue
Improved ability to heal
Minimising scarring
Enhancing the absorption of Iron into the body
Vitamin D
Vitamin D is created largely through a healthy exposure to sunshine. It is responsible for the maintenance of healthy bones, teeth, muscles and skin, as well as regulating the minerals needed to keeps these parts of our bod healthy. It is largely documented that in this country we are not exposed to enough sunlight to produce Vitamin D for much of the year (especially during Autumn/Winter). And so looking for other ways to safely create more Vitamin D in our bodies, such as through injections, is necessary.
Some of the other benefits to increasing Vitamin D levels include:
Enhanced energy levels
Reduced fatigue
Maintaining healthy metabolism
Control of cravings
